Student Development
What is Student Development?
Student Development is the embodiment of Carey's integrated approach to student learning. It is underpinned by our commitment to Positive Education and a strengths-based approach to supporting the learning, social and emotional needs of our students.
Student Development is integral to the care and wellbeing of all students at Carey. Our aim is to ensure that we provide a safe and healthy school environment and that our students are able to access appropriate learning, wellbeing and medical support when required.
Student Development is a collaboration of a range of professionals including, Learning Development teachers, school psychologists, School Guidance Co-ordinators, Nurses and Professional Support staff. Each professional provides specialist support to our students and the Carey community as part of this integrated approach. We work with teachers, chaplains and support staff to deliver the very best outcomes for our students.
